Launch of the new Ostomy Resource Centre, aiming to provide a "one-stop shop" for information to ostomosts.

The site has been developed by Fast Tiger Limited, a small consultancy providing intelligent IS solutions to businesses.

The contents have been devised by Stuart Daley, an ileostomist since 1989.  Stuart developed Crohn's disease in 1981 and, after several operations and tries at drug therapy, was given his ileostomy in Bristol in 1989.

"I wanted to give something to the ostomy community", he said.  "I've always found it difficult finding out about new products to try, and what other solutions there are to my own, personal problems.  The idea for the site was so that companies could provide product information in a central point so that ostomists of all persuasions could make an informed choice."

The Ostomy Resource Centre is solely funded by Stuart and invites contributions from individuals and companies on a voluntary basis.  No sponsorship is accepted as we aim to provide a total impartial view of the products available.  Any sponsorship would imply recommendation, which we wish to avoid.  However, if any company would like to be represented on the links or product pages, please send us your details.
